No this person is totally legit! I have a similar thing where I identify more as black even though I’m white! I really like listening to Kanye West and one time my friend and I took the train to Oakland for an As game. Plus I really feel bad about Rodney King! That might not make sense to people, but I think you can be an oppressed minority without being an oppressed minority merely through exoticizing and mimicking the stereotypes of their culture.
